New Adult Program: Day Writers. First meeting Friday, September 19 11 am - 1 pm, This new program is for folks seeking a creative outlet where they can write for fun and self-reflection, and share their work with others if they choose. Moderator Don LaPlant will provide a few prompts and exercises and let writers respond in whatever way they'd like, whether it's poetry, short fiction, a political rant, nature writing, a personal memory from childhood, or some new literary hybrid no one's ever tried before. Our focus will be on personal enrichment rather than things like grammar, criticism, or a concern with getting published.
