Getting a Card

Residents of the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District and near surrounding areas are welcome to register for a Library Card.

In-Person Registration: To get a library card, you need to fill out a registration form and provide a government-issued photo ID and a piece of mail received recently at your address within the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District. A parent or guardian with a library card in good standing may register a minor child for a card of their own, but will be responsible for any fees accrued on the child’s account.

Online Registration: You can sign up for a temporary library card online by following this link. You can use that account number to access our digital content through the Libby app. After registering online, you must visit the library in person within 60 days (with a government-issued photo ID and piece of mail recently received at your address within the Cobleskill-Richmondville School District) to complete the registration process and receive a permanent card enabling you access to all the library’s resources.
